40th Birthday

My customer wanted this cake to be blinged-out with lots of colorful decorations! I matched the fondant colors to the fun decor. A fondant braid and hand-formed balls framed each layer nicely.

Bridal Petit Fours

These mini petit fours are vanilla almond with a royal icing flower on top. I added sparkling shimmer dust and edible pearls!

Going-Away Party

An intern at my church got a new position as a youth minister in Pineville, LA. He's a hardcore Miss. State Bulldog, so they asked me to incorporate that theme into the cakes.

Birthday Princess

I can't take all the credit for this cake. My friend, Julie, asked me to help her decorate her daughter's birthday cake. I showed her how to make the fondant roses and leaves/bows. Good job Julie!

Valentine's Day Cupcakes

Construction Site Birthday Cake

This was a fun cake to make! It's a birthday cake for twin 2-year-old boys. They wanted the cake to look like a construction site with trucks and dirt and rocks. I found the cutest edible Legos and couldn't resist constructing a building! The rocks are edible chocolate pieces, and the dirt is crushed up Oreos. One of the twins has food allergies, so this is an egg-free chocolate cake with chocolate icing. It's moist and decadent and yummy, even without the eggs!

Since the boys are young, I made them each a 4-inch round cake to enjoy with their name and a truck on top!

Polka Dot Baby Shower Cakes

These baby shower cakes for little "Lochlan" are vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting. Each cake has a fondant circle with baby boy's initial. The shower invitation had multi-colored polka dots in blues/browns, so these matched perfectly!
